How many made it to the Roger Waters' Show??

Hello all!

So, how many made it out to the Roger Waters' show? I thought it was great!  It was the closest I will ever get to seeing the real Floyd-Since my parents would not allow it back in 1994.  They are STILL hearing about that today! I will say that I thought it was amazing, BUT just listening to him & his bandmates made me realize what a presence was missing.......needless to say it was David.  I thought it was really cool that he did tunes from just about every Floyd album too.  I was a bit dissapointed that he didn't sing Money.  I was hoping that he would sing it the way he wrote it, as a really jazzy scatty song.  I also noticed that he only had 4 U.S.A. stops on his tour & 2 were in Texas.  Dallas & Houston, pretty cool!  Also, his back up singer did a great job on Gig, BUT as an honest compliment to Media, I thought of HOW WELL she does it EVERYTIME!!!!  SHE IS AMAZING!!!!

Lastly, I must say I sported my Bricks babydoll t-shirt (the hammers) to the show, and I got TONS of compliments.  I told most that it was a 'Bricks In The Wall' shirt, told them to check out the 6/13/08 show! I guess I will be your walking 'Bricks' billboard.  ;)   I did see one other guy wearing a 'Bricks' T-shirt at the show.  Well, I hope that a lot of you were able to make it to the show.  Let me know what you thought.  Best? Worst?  Let's discuss.

Leiane,

you are awesome! That is so cool that you wore the Bricks t-shirt.  We all had ours on as well!  The show was incredible. I saw him in 2000 in Dallas AND Paris France.  This show was 1000 times better.!  He had great energy and his vocals were spot on!  I must say the Fletcher Memorial was the highlite for me.  Although, Sheep was pretty incredible too.

I agree 100% that Medea sings it better.. I'm sure she will have a nice reply for you

Yeah I wish him and Dave could bury the hatchet.. Everything I read says he is 100% ready to get back together, but his quote was "Dave is off on an island"

lastly, sorry about the late delays responding, we are fixing that now..

Look forward to seeing you at the HOB show next month.. Its going to be killer

Wow, if that walking billboard doesn't get people out to the show I don't know what will!

I was there at the show with Travis and Gunter. It was a fabulous show! Everything about it was incredible. The music, the massve video screen, the lights, the prism lasers, etc. I wish we had his budget!

If you haven't already heard, in the days leading up to the show we're going to be performing live on Channel 8's Good Morning Texas (Wed., 6/11, 9am) and 93.3 The Bone (Thu., 6/12, 9am). The Bone might also record another song or two to play the morning of the show.

See you on Friday, June 13!
